Everything you need to know if you're a Thomas Cook and Tandem customer

We’re sorry to hear that Thomas Cook has ceased trading. If you have been affected then we can help you with getting your money back.

If you’re abroad on a Thomas Cook holiday right now and you need some help with access to cash we can help. We don’t charge a cash advance fee when you’re overseas anyway, but we’ll waive the cash interest charges that would usually apply if you let us know that you need this. If your credit limit is insufficient for now, please contact us and we’ll consider a temporary increase for you.

If you have a future trip that you booked through a travel agent or booked a package holiday then ATOL and ABTA schemes should mean full refunds. You should follow the advice on the following website – thomascook.caa.co.uk – You’ll have received a confirmation certificate when you booked.

If you booked flights only then you are not protected by ATOL, though may be able to help you with a claim under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act. If you paid more than £100 of the cost on your Tandem credit card and you booked directly with Thomas Cook you can make a claim. If you booked with another agent or didn’t pay directly using your card, we’ll take a look to see if we can help.
