Tandem Bank reduces residential first charge rates by up to 0.96%*  and Simplifies Criteria Guide for New Homeowners

Tandem announces significant reduction in rates for its residential first charge products, by up to 0.96%* and a revamped criteria guide to support mortgage advisors.

Tandem, the UK’s greener digital bank, has announced a significant reduction in rates for its residential first charge products, by up to 0.96%*, effective immediately. This, coupled with a comprehensive revamp of its criteria guide, makes it even more accessible and user-friendly for mortgage advisors.  

One of the standout offerings in this pricing update is the two-year fixed product at 90% Loan-to-Value (LTV) and a competitive rate of 7.49%.  A £1,495 fee applies. Maximum loan amounts of £750,000 up to 80% LTV, and £500,000 for 90% LTV.

Further rate discounts are available to borrowers across the entire product range for both new purchases and re-mortgages with an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of A, B, or C. For properties with an A, B, or C rating, clients can enjoy a further rate discount of up to 0.3%, making it even more attractive for environmentally conscious homeowners and aligning with Tandem’s goal to help UK consumers transition to greener homes, transport and lifestyles.
