Tandem Bank, which recently put its criteria on Knowledge Bank’s (KB) criteria platform KB Pro, has reported a significant reduction in phone enquiries since it went live with Knowledge Bank in February because many existing users are finding the answers they need on KB’s platform.
According to Tandem’s Director of Mortgage Division Sales & Distribution, Roger Morris, the move to join Knowledge Bank fits seamlessly with Tandem’s ethos of broker education.
He said, “We are delighted to be part of Knowledge Bank’s KB Pro platform and it is proving its value to us in two main ways. Firstly, it gives brokers a truly accurate way to check whether their clients’ cases fit before making a DIP application. It gives them confidence and cuts down the chances of rejection or the need for more conversations with our team. Secondly, it has already made a difference to our call centre, where the number of criteria- based questions had been understandably high with us being a new lender. Although we have launched our products through more new partners, the level of inbound calls asking criteria questions has definitely gone down.”
Roger added, “Our experience with Knowledge Bank should give more brokers the confidence to sign up to use this fantastic resource. It certainly saves brokers’ time by cutting down the number of calls to check criteria with lenders directly.”
Nicola Firth, CEO of Knowledge Bank, said, “Tandem proves time and time again their commitment to improving the broker experience and streamlining the mortgage process. Roger and his team are always at the forefront of innovation in the market and they have offered us invaluable insights to help us develop the tools they need to support their staff and brokers. We’re thrilled that the results they’ve enjoyed with KB PRO have been so significant and so immediate. It really is a massive endorsement of the system to get a thumbs up from a lender like Tandem.”
