Gender Equity at Tandem

Tandem is a proud signatory of the Women in Finance Charter.

What is gender equity?

The financial services industry has historically struggled with gender balance, especially in senior leadership, and in many organisations, it still is a challenge, but that imbalance matters. When half the population isn’t fully represented in leadership or key industry conversations, we all miss out on valuable perspectives and fairness.

Tandem's commitment

In 2024, we signed up to the Women in Finance Charter, HM Treasury’s initiative bringing businesses together to make financial services more balanced and fairer.

At Tandem, we believe gender equity isn’t just about “doing the right thing.” It’s about building a stronger, more sustainable, and more inclusive industry where everyone can contribute their best – no matter who they are.

The Impact

Here's where we stand today...

01

46%

...of our people are women

From new insulations and better glazing to cleaner heating systems.

02

92%

...of people feel they’re treated fairly at Tandem

This is regardless of gender, from the 2025 Trust Index Survey.

03

35%

...is our target for 2026

This is the proportion of senior management and above roles we aim to be held by women.

30%

We’re making real progress

This is how many senior management and above roles are held by women at Tandem as of November 2025, up from 25.42% in January.

We’re well on our way, but we’re not stopping there

We’re committed to creating an inclusive and safe culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Equality is great, but equity is even better because when more voices are heard and valued, everybody benefits.
